Scott Borchetta is fighting the coronavirus one bottle of hand sanitizer at a time.

The Big Machine Label Group president/CEO recently spoke about how his company’s Nashville-based liquor business, Big Machine Distillery, which produces premium vodka, is using its facilities to produce donated bottles of hand sanitizer for local first responders.

“We feel fortunate to be in a position to serve our community during these challenging times,” Borchetta tweeted. “The ability to tap into @bigmchnvodka has allowed us to quickly make hand sanitizer available for both our first responders and customers.”

Big Machine Distillery’s locations in Lynnville and Berry Hill, Tenn., have been following the World Health Organization’s (WHO) formula to manufacture various-sized bottles of sanitizer, which are being donated to police officers, firefighters and EMTs in the surrounding areas, News Channel 5 in Nashville reports.

“It’s amazing to see a company like Big Machine and its employees and owners set profits and publicity aside for the better good of the community,” Berry Hill Police Chief Tim Coleman told the website.

Larger quantities of the Big Machine-branded hand sanitizer can be purchased at the distillery’s Nashville and Lynville locations or ordered online. Complimentary 50 ml bottles are available for curbside pickup and delivery to customers, according to News Channel 5.
