Chris Brown Attacks Chvrches: Go Walk in Front of a Bus!

Chris Brown is a man so terrible that he easily loses the moral high ground to Offset.

So when the band Chvrches briefly mentioned that he has committed domestic violence, a fact not in dispute, he blew a gasket.

Chris attacked the band in comments and is now sitting back and cackling as his fans bombard the music group with death threats.

Chvrches, the band, has reached a decision after a great deal of soul-searching and has released a statement to explain it.

“We are really confused, upset, and disappointed by Marshmello’s decision to work with Tyga and Chris Brown,” the statement begins.

We’re all disappointed by a lot of things related to both Tyga and Chris Brown.

“We like and respect Mello as a person,” Chvrches affirm.

If you sense a “but” coming, you’re absolute right.

“But working with people who are predators and abusers enables, excuses, and ultimately tacitly endorses that behavior,” Chvrches explain..

That’s extremely fair.

“That is not something we can or will stand behind,” the statement concludes.

It takes a lot of courage to take a different career path in order to express a strong moral stance.

However, the statement received a distressing amount of ire, both from stans … and from the two despicable men whom they mentioned.

“[We’re] all God’s children,” Tyga begins in a comment.

Hmmm … was children really the best word for him to use here?

“Everyone makes mistakes,” he insists, adding: “no ones perfect.”

“Let’s Keep the energy positive,” Tyga begs.

Those all sound like very friendly ways to ask people to stop talking about how you were a grown man f–king a high school girl.

Chris Brown remained very much on brand for his response.

And by that, we mean that he left a vicious and violent comment, outraged that anyone would mention that he’s the scum of the earth.

“BUNCH OF LOSERS,” Chris’ nasty comment begins in all caps.

He’s such a classy guy.

“These are the type of people I wish walked in front of a speeding bus full of mental patients,” he writes with odd specificity.

“Keep groveling over [your] own insecurities and hatred,” Chris demands.

“I’M BLACK AND PROUD,” he writes for no apparent reason.

Chvrches, to be clear, put him on blast for being an abusive monster — he has admitted to his violent assault against Rihanna in 2009.

Chvrches aren’t the only ones disgusted that anyone is willing to work with or in any way support the notorious abuser.

Absolutely wild to think of how many people moderate their tone about Chris Brown any time that he comes up.

“I want him to face justice” or “he should serve real prison time” are sometimes euphemisms for things that might violate the terms of use on social media.

Meanwhile, Chris himself is out here raging without fear of consequences or who might get hurt.

Kind of like he is in real life, we suppose.

His fans took note and are working to emulate his example.

Lauren Mayberry, the lead singer of Chvrches, has shared multiple snaps of the death threats that she and her bandmates are now facing.

We wish that we were surprised to hear that Chris Brown fans are eager to send death threats, but it’s not new information.

There are people who either enjoy his music or are just horny for him.

And they just wish that everyone would stop worrying about right and wrong and just act like his violent deeds, from recent years or from a decade ago, would magically evaporate.

That’s not how things work — and it’s not how things should work.

Let’s block ads! (Why?)
