He was arrested and charged with assault and drug possession in Sweden last Thursday.

And on Sunday, G-Eazy apologized to his fans via Instagram as he continued his tour in Denmark.

Sharing a black and white photo of himself, he wrote: ‘Grateful & blessed to be free & safe. Happy to be in Copenhagen tonight doing what I love most.’

The rapper, 28, went on: ‘Embarrassed & apologetic beyond words about the incident, but above all I’m so f****** grateful they let me go, craziest experience of my life, awful night with a lot of bad luck and some even worse decisions but like I said I’m grateful as f*** to be a free man, back on tour performing for the fans.’

‘Thank you to everyone who’s held me down along the way and supported this journey, I appreciate you more than you’ll ever know. Love,’ he concluded.

G-Eazy – real name Gerald Gillum – was convicted of assault, drug possession and resisting arrest following a nightclub brawl in Stockholm in the early hours of Thursday morning.

He was sentenced to two years probation and ordered to pay 80,000 krona (about $ 9,000) for his crimes, as well as 6,500 krona (about $ 810) restitution to the security guard he was accused of assaulting, a courtroom source told People

It was alleged that the rapper was carrying 1.5 grams of cocaine in his pocket at the time of his arrest as well as a ‘rolled up $ 100 bill’, which police claim has drug residue on it.

Police also claimed to have noticed ‘white powder on the nose’ of the Him & I musician – whose girlfriend Halsey and friend Sean Kingston were also at the nightclub – and reported he showed visible signs of drugs use, including ‘tense, convulsive jaw muscles,’ according to a police report obtained by The Blast.

The report also described the Oakland California native’s demeanor as ‘insane, crazy and rabid.’

The report went on to state that Eazy admitted to having the drugs in his possession during an interview with police, as well as confirming he struck a guard and tried to escape after being detained.

A security guard at Solidaritet nightclub noticed the start of a scuffle in the VIP room of the club, and when he stepped in to intervene, he claims Eazy struck him in the head three to four times, causing ‘swelling and pain’.

Prior to the public arrest, G-Eazy performed in front of thousands at a Stockholm venue.

And fans went wild when Halsey joined him on stage to perform their hit single Him And I.

As the Alone singer sang, her boyfriend was seen nuzzling her neck.

This isn’t the first time that G-Eazy, Halsey, and drugs have been mentioned in the same sentence.

Back in January, Halsey was seen snorting a suspicious substance while hanging out with her pals in Miami.

Gerald addressed this in an interview with The Breakfast Club .

‘I was on a boat. It was New Year’s Day, I’m on a yacht, what do you think I’m doing?’ he said neither confirming nor denying that his significant other was snorting cocaine. ‘It’s like s*** can I live?’

While he couldn’t speak for Halsey, he did openly admit that he ‘dabbles’ in drugs and alcohol.

‘Throughout the album [The Beautiful & Damned] it sounds like you’re battling with drugs and alcohol heavy. Are you really?’ Charlamagne asked the rapper.

‘I dabble. Yeah. It’s day to day,’ he said when speaking on his supposed substance abuse.
