Glossier's New Makeup Remover Is the Best I've Ever Tried

You may remember Glossier’s original cleanser, Milky Jelly. Well, this new version is kind of like same but different. A combination of micellar water and weightless oil make this product a one-swipe wonder when taking off even the most stubborn of waterproof mascaras. Simply shake, pour some on a cotton pad and hold it over your eyes and makeup is instantly gone. I kid you not. I used this for the first time and gasped at how quickly it removed my makeup. My main issue with oil-based makeup removers is that you’re left with a sticky residue, but Milky Oil left my skin feeling silky smooth, fresh and totally clean.
Like Milky Jelly Cleanser, Milky Oil contains comfrey root extract and pro-vitamin B5 to help condition and soothe skin, it also contains glycerin to help combat dryness. I’m normally a micellar water girl through and through, as I love how clean they leave my face post-use, but I often find I have to use multiple cotton pads in the process. This didn’t happen with Milky Oil, I used a total of two cotton pads to remove my entire face of makeup and then went in with a second cleanse with Oskia’s Renaissance Cleansing Gel (£33) because I was in the middle of fashion week and this girl needed some R&R time.
