It's a Christmas Miracle: Noel and Liam Gallagher Are 'All Good Again'

War is over? The Gallagher brothers appear to have buried the hatchet. And just in time for Christmas.

The formerOasis leaders have been waging one of rock ‘n’ roll’s most captivating wars since Noel left the band in 2009. But the festive season, it seems, has brought some cheer to the battling brothers. Liam took to Twitter Wednesday to share with the world that Noelhas “reached out” and they are “all good now.”

“I wanna say Happy Xmas to team NG it’s been a great year thanks for everything looking forward to seeing you tmorrow,” he tweeted.

When a fan reached out: “You’re not going to have a meltdown on here come Christmas day are you Liam when NG doesnt reach out to you?”, Liam replied: “He’s already reached out.” And added, “We’re all good again.”

Who knows, with Liam maybe “all good again” means “still at war.”  But if those detonated Gallagher bridges are truly mended, it’s a Christmas miracle.

The Gallaghers always had a testy relationship, but it was that chemistry that fueled Oasis’ irrevocable rise to the top in the ’90s. One of the low points in their feud came in 2011 when Liam launched legal action against Noel over his claim that his younger sibling had pulled out of a 2009 headline performance at V festival due to a “hangover” (Liam insisted his older brother knew he had laryngitis). The chirpy younger Gallagher has called his brother everything from a potato to “creepy,” while Noel has called his bro a “village idiot” and claimed “he’s not well.”

While their relationship soured, the brothers moved on with their music. Liam released his debut solo album As You Were earlier this year. It opened at No. 1 in the U.K., and his two previous sets with the now-defunct Beady Eyeboth reached the top 3.Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds had a third U.K. No. 1 album with the 2017 release Who Built The Moon.
