Kate Upton welcomed her first baby with husband Justin Verlander this week.

On Saturday the 26-year-old Vogue model made the announcement on Instagram.

‘Genevieve Upton Verlander,’ she said in the caption as she shared a photo of the little girl.

The lingerie model announced she was pregnant with an Instagram note in July. 

She was last seen on Sunday in Houston, Texas with her husband.

The Michigan-born model and Houston Astros pitcher, 35, looked more in love than ever, marking their one-year wedding anniversary on the same day.

It was only one year ago that Kate and Justin were wed in a magical ceremony in Tuscany.

Celebrating their anniversary on Instagram, Upton shared a striking black and white image of the happy couple dancing at their lavish reception. 

Her gushing caption read: ‘This year has been the best year of my life! It had a crazy beginning with a World Series win and the BEST wedding weekend, where I got to marry my best friend and love of my life. 

‘Now to celebrate our love and our first year of marriage we are preparing to welcome a new addition to our family. I’m so excited to go through this journey of life with you! I love you so much! Happy One Year @justinverlander.’
