Looks Like Netflix’s Reported Beyoncé Documentary Is Dropping Very Soon
Everyone better get in formation because it looks like Beyoncé is coming to Netflix sooner than you might’ve expected.
On Sunday, the streaming service announced the release date of a feature called Homecoming, and thanks to the yellow coloring, the same Greek lettering she uses, and recent reports about her working with Netflix for a documentary about her Coachella 2018 performance, it didn’t take long for the Beyhive to put two and two together (which coincidentally, equals four, or IV, Bey’s favorite number).

Details are still slim on what footage fans might be treated to with Homecoming, but Us Weekly previously reported that the documentary she was working on would center on her history-making Coachella performance and offer additional footage as well (the site also revealed that she’d recorded some new music to go in “a deluxe album filled with old songs,” but we don’t know if that’ll be included in the film as well).
If her Lemonade visual album drop on HBO taught us anything, though, it’s that when it comes to Beyoncé’s screen treats, the less we know in advance, the better. We’ll have to just wait to see what’s in store for us all when Homecoming premieres on Netflix on April 17.
