Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Has A Super Awesome Secret Easter Egg
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge features more exciting visuals, details, and Easter Eggs for fans to find than any other land at Disney Parks. Some are so difficult to find, or are hidden from normal view that most people won’t even know they exist.
Galaxy’s Edge is the first ever Star Wars attraction where guests can live out their own personal story of existing within the canonical universe of Star Wars, on planet Batuu‘s Black Spire Outpost where all its happenings, inhabitants, merchandise, and food all exist as if they were made by residents of the outer rim world. And there’s so much to see, and do thanks do the Play Disney app which transforms into your very own Datapad to interact with the park.
One of the most impressive and mindblowing locations at Black Spire is Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities. Dok-Ondar’s shop has everything from super cool metal lightsabers where users can purchase different length blades that change color depending on which hilt is used (including the first ever official lightsabers for Ahsoka Tano featuring white blades), to a super rare collectible from a planet very far, far away…
Take a look and see if you can spot it…
Notice anything at the end when we zoom-in? We’re only giving you a second…

Hidden in the back in a pile of stuff high up, the corner of a golden chest can be spotted… Yes, it’s the Ark the Covenant from Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark.
As Marcus Brody from the old Indiana Jones movies said:
“Well, I mean that for nearly three thousand years man has been searching for the lost ark. It’s not something to be taken lightly. No one knows its secrets. It’s like nothing you’ve ever gone after before.”
That’s a wild crossover Easter Egg! Dok-Ondar really can get his hands on anything. It’s as his shop where Holocrons and Kyber Crystal can be found, along with statues of legendary figures from the Star Wars universe, jewels, collectibles, and other amazing, high-end in-universe valuables. It’s a must-see at Disneyland.
Even walking in, the first thing guests will see passing the automated doors is a mural on the wall depicting an ancient battlebetween the light and dark sides of the Force. The original bas-relief of this mural was seen in Chancellor Palpatine’s office in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. There are helmets, weapons, creatures, and so much more from every aspect from canonical lore, and so many surprises for fans of the animated series especially.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens at Disneyland May 31, 2019 and later in August at Walt Disney World.
