While the weather may appear to be transitioning gently into spring, the fashion world is – as always – one step ahead. Looking to next season, the world’s biggest brands, designers, models, fashion editors and influencers are currently on the third global leg of seasonal catwalks, taking to Milan to showcase the sartorial landscape for autumn/winter 2019.
Oversized hats, sensible shorts and tight pleats may have dominated the last lot of runways (and, therefore, what we’ll all be wearing this spring/summer), but by the end of the year things look set to be a whole lot more EXTRA… A… F.
From OTT prints – think clashing checks, unapologetic florals and argyle knits – to blinding sparkle, fancy puffers and seemingly endless ruffles, you may well need the next six months to gear yourself – and your wardrobe – up for what looks set to be a seriously sassy season.
