Ric Flair looks in good spirits as he enjoys cold beer alongside his family in Alabama… a month after undergoing emergency surgery
Ric Flair said he was going to continue living his life after undergoing an emergency surgery last month.
The WWE legend looked in good spirits as he enjoyed a beer alongside his family in Auburn, Alabama on Sunday.
Ric relaxed over a cold one while chatting inside a restaurant with his wife, Wendy Barlow.
Here’s to his health: Ric Flair was spotted enjoying a beer with his family in Auburn, Alabama on Sunday, just a month after undergoing emergency heart surgery
The couple were joined by Ric’s stepchildren, Sophia and Sebastian Kidder, who were pictured trailing the pair while leaving a restaurant.
Ric kept his cool in a pair of loose trousers, loafers, and even a graphic print T-shirt with a cartoon image of his face.
Walking outside of the restaurant arm-in-arm with his wife, Ric certainly seemed to be in a good mood and relaxed.
Ric and his wife were in Auburn to help register Sebastian for classes at the University of Auburn.

And the wrestler could not hide his pride as he posted a photo of his college-bound boy onto Instagram.
‘Auburn Registration For My Stepson,’ he gushed in the photo’s caption, which was of Ric, his wife, and Sebastian posing on campus.
Ever since undergoing surgery last month, Ric has been sporadically keeping fans up-to-date on his health online.

Ric announced last month in a series of YouTube videos he was ‘feeling great’ after undergoing a recent surgery at an Atlanta-area hospital – a procedure he claims cost around $ 1.8 million.
Flair’s two YouTube videos primarily emphasized how happy he is to be alive (‘I’m up; I’m well; I’m feeling great’), but also his stubbornness in the face of his doctors’ advice.
‘I’m not going to act like my age,’ Flair said while discussing the doctors. ‘Don’t ever tell me that! I’m paying you to make be better so I can be me. That’s me and that’s all I’m ever gonna be.’

A week prior, Ric’s wife Wendy announced he was in the recovery room after a successful surgery.
The exact procedure was not disclosed, but TMZ reported at the time that he was hospitalized due to a ‘very serious’ medical emergency. He had previously admitted to suffering from alcoholic cardiomyopathy, which is a heart problem caused by prolonged alcohol abuse.
Flair has also been very open about his problems with alcohol.
‘I had one vice,’ Ric told Sports Illustrated in 2017. ‘I’m not going to point my finger at anybody else. My vice was drinking. I didn’t have any pain issues, addiction problems, marijuana, cocaine, nothing like that. It’s a fact that I kept myself up all night and always had a good time.’
